Normatec 3 Leg Compression System

Compression therapy is a non-invasive modality proven to increase circulation and range of motion, reduce pain and soreness, boost pressure to pain threshold and clear lactate and metabolites from the limbs after physical activity. Once you are set up on the device, you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the attachments fill with air to calibrate and mold to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, then each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up the limb. This stimulates blood flow, massages the muscles, and works in harmony with the body’s circulatory system to mobilize fluid, such as lactic acid, out of the extremities and back up towards the heart. The heart will collect the impure blood and deliver it to the lungs for purification (oxygenation) before delivering it back to the extremities.

Blood flow is the key to recovering from workouts and repairing injury. Our Normatec 3 Leg Compression system has been proven to increase blood flow, increase range of motion, decrease swelling and lower perceived pain and soreness.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This massage is also known as manual lymphatic drainage. It's a gentle form of massage used to help alleviate painful swelling in the arms and legs caused by Lymphedema. This occurs when tissues retain fluid (known as lymph) due to a disruption in the lymphatic system and is often seen in those who've had breast cancer surgery. This massage helps the body drain lymph out of the tissue and into the lymph nodes, leading to reduced symptoms. Other conditions that may benefit from this massage include Rheumatoid arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic venous insufficiency and Lipedema.*TIFFANY IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY THERAPIST THAT PROVIDES LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE*
